Attention Brooklynites!If you don't know about this place, Blue Marble, on Atlantic Avenue you should!
Normally, I don't go for the organic hippie-dippie sort of place like this, but I tried the mocha chip -- and my friends tried butter pecan and chocolate chip -- and we were impressed. I'd advise staying away from the cookies and baked goods and sticking with the straight ice cream. (I had one of their cookies a while back and wasn't all that impressed.)
I guess I was feeling in the ice cream mood after reading Ira Stoll's "Battle of the Scoop Sales" drama in the NY Sun last week.
