Hilarious story in yesterday's NY Times about our old friend Steve Martin --He sat down for one of those on-stage interviews with Deborah Solomon at the 92nd Street Y and was so boring that the Y decided to give the entire audience a refund!
Apparently, Martin and Solomon spent the entire hour talking about art, and not enough time talking about show biz. (And this didn't improve even though Solomon was handed a note mid-interview from one of the people from the Y requesting more "career" oriented questions.)
