1) Yes, the Fire Department did come.
2) The steak that he made was frickin' fabulous. (I mean, seriously, seriously great stuff.)
I'd met Joey a couple of other times -- most memorably at burger bash in Summit, NJ, where he whipped up with what was maybe the best burger I'd ever tasted. Joey is (as my grandmother would put it) quite a character.
